Liminal Spaces: Derived from the Latin word līmen, and defined as “relating to, or being an intermediate state, phase, or condition.” Often times the word liminal or liminality is used to describe a time between “what was,” and “what is next;” a transition period. A space where you have left something behind, yet you are not yet fully in the “next.
This is an ongoing project that emerged out of the isolation of the COVID-19 Pandemic. With this work I seek to examine spaces so often passed through, but rarely truly looked at.
